Why take exams?
The examining process gives each student a goal to work towards and allows them to achieve it. It takes discipline to study theory and work hard in class to reach the technical requirements for each level. Achieving goals heightens self-esteem by allowing the dancer to graduate to the next level upon successful completion of the previous level. The benefits of using a method which builds from one level to the next is important in developing a well-trained dancer.
Ballet Exams - Cecchetti Council of America
At DANCE by Eliese, we proudly follow the Cecchetti Method of Ballet, a structured training system renowned for building technical precision, strength, and artistry. Developed by Maestro Enrico Cecchetti, this method ensures dancers progress safely and confidently through each level, mastering essential skills before advancing to more complex movements.
Dancers have the opportunity to participate in Cecchetti Ballet Examinations, where they demonstrate their skills, artistry, and knowledge to Cecchetti Council of America (CCA) Examiners.

-
Exams begin with a short introduction and theory questions based on the graded syllabus.
